Root ASUS Fonepad 8

 
 Preparation

  • Download and extract fonepad8_root_MYR_ZGfont_Install
  • Download SuperSU (or you can do it later from google play store)

Go to settings > developer options

  1. Check USB debugging
  2. Connect fonepad to your PC / Laptop
  3. Copy SuperSU to Internal drive
  4. Go to fonepad8_root_MYR_ZGfont_Install extract folder
  5. Run root_fonepad8.bat
  6. press any key continue
  7. type 4, for root your fonepad 8
  8. your device will reboot and root process will begin
  9. wait until the device reboot for several time and it will boot in normal mode.
  10. wait until the device reboot for several time and it will boot in normal mode.
  11. Install SuperSU (from apk or google play)
  12. Done, your device is rooted

Install CWM on Asus FonePad 8

Preparation

  • Download and install ADB into your PC / Laptop
  • Download and install Intel Android Driver
  • Download and extract CWM Temporary FE380CG

Install CWM on Asus FonePad 8

  1. Make sure that Intel android driver install properly, dont forget to install ADB
  2. Turn off your FonePad 8
  3. Connect your device to PC / Laptop
  4. Boot in fastboot mode, Press and hold Power + Volume[+] buttons until you see Asus logo
  5. Go to Windows and go to CWM extract folder
  6. Double click on launcher.bat
  7. type ACCEPT , make sure you write with all caps
  8. this information will appear

    DEVICE STATUS: FASTBOOT-ONLINE
    DEVICE INFORMATION: EAOKBC000000 fastboot

  9. Next, type T2 , using all caps, don`t be surprise when a broken image appear in your screen, it have no effect to your device
  10. After installation complete, remove your device from PC/ Laptop
  11. Reboot your device
  12. Done
